More travelling ahead of us. India at the end of this month . Stanford for three weeks in March . This brass nameplate on a door in London caught ' the fonts ' eye.A clue to what might come in May ?
Ross & Craig.......Craig & Ross.......me thinks perhaps a clue as to two future Pons! A fleeting thought. A nice one. Maybe not so fleeting after all. Fingers crossed. From the Westcoast of Canada.
Sounds like two solicitors ... pardon maitre Ross and Craig in Southern France - you will need them to negotiate the plumbers bill! Silly today - hopeful we see them soon!! The Southern Italy Team
When we got litter mates, Gizmo and Bart, I wanted to call them Sam and Dave. My husband nixed the idea because he didn't want to name a puppy after our alcoholic next door neighbor...I just like soul music...
While I'm just as excited for the arrival of the PON pups as your other readers, I must say that your imagination and writing talent are part of what brings the furry fellows to life on your blog. Until that happy day in May, I look forward to reading the crazy and surreal tales from deepest France profonde and your many travels.
Hopefully not legal trouble for overspending on your holidays!
Following on from Bertie's comment, and the idea that there may be the pitter patter of eight little paws next May, we noticed, while "The Font" saw two names in London, that the first photo of what caught "Angus's eye" yesterday was dogs of Scottish origin. We can highly recommend Golden Retrievers (and know you’ve trailed Max to see how a dog that size fits in your home – fur and all!) or are PON's (being the wonderful dogs that they are) still your preference? Of course Riley's father and Enzo's father both were born in the UK, with Riley and Enzo's fathers and our previous Golden's father all from the same UK “kennel” which includes one of the names on the brass nameplate, so our detective work and thinking that you should consider our breed may be exceedingly biased!
Oh to be travelling again.
ReplyDeleteAre you going to Scotland? Or York? (We googled the names)
XXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
