Eleven out of twelve.

Off to Toulouse to look at bathroom cabinets. This task apparently can't be left until after Christmas. While ' the font ' exhaustively  discusses handles and taps Angus goes off in search of wine.

By the car park one of those old fashioned family chocolate shops. All the chocolate Elks , bar one, in the window have been sold.  By contrast eleven out of an original twelve Pandas still waiting patiently for a buyer. Maybe Pandas don't press the right Christmas buttons ? There again it might be the alarming look on their little faces .

Overnight no less than nine of those weird  SPAM messages of the  '' Wonderful paintings ! That's the sort of message that should be shared across the web " variety . Has anyone found a way of stopping them ?

  2. The pandas just look oddly unappealing.
I recently had a massive upsurge of spam on my blog, coincident with having registered with Google+ (in order to facilitate uploading videos on YouTube, if that makes sense). Anyway, I have now de-registered from Google+ and also changed the settings on my my blog so that anonymous comments are no longer allowed. The problem is now - for the moment at least - resolved.
    Cheers, Gail.

    1. Thanks . I'll try it. This seems to have started since switching to using Firefox which may also have something to do with Google +.

  3. Those pandas are just frightening. The others are elk? Not reindeer?

  4. at least the elk-reindeer look like chocolate.
the pandas look like nothing remotely edible to me. maybe just some lovely 'simple' chocolate would be nice.
i'm not that fond of eating an animal that looks plastic.
am having more and more spam - even with a supposedly 'catcha' or whatever that's called to deter robots, etc.
lately the spam has even mentioned a title in my media file (titled and known only to me for posting purposes!?). kind of spooky.

    1. This new virus seems to be able to avoid SPAM filters. Worse than spooky ! We'll beat it somehow.

  5. I think the little pandas are adorable even though they look a bit frightened. Into the box and home with me.
Can't help you at all with the spam issue because I can't even help myself.
P.S. The chocolate shop looks heavenly.

  7. Haven't had the pleasure of dealing with that kind of spam. Yet. I am sure it will find its way to me. I feel bad for those pandas. They look like they are saying, "please don't eat me". I'd go to the shop next door. Happy.

  8. I kind of like the pandas, but we don't have anything like that around here!

I use Akismet on my blog for spam, but I'm not sure if there's a Blogger version of it.

  9. So far I have managed to keep the spam to a minimum by not allowing Anonymous comments.
I've had about maybe 4 spam comments thus far...my weapon of choice..kill them with niceness...they haven't come back.
I could get lost in that chocolate shop while the Font was shopping...hope she found everything she wanted.
You wouldn't understand, but certainly the new bathroom cabinets can NOT wait until after Christmas...gotta love the Font.
