Clouds,snow and gratuitous puppy pictures.

Out for an early morning saunter along the ridge. The fields a rich emerald green after all the recent rain . In the far distance a wall of clouds building up over the Pyrenees. A sign that cold air coming from the north is running headlong into the warm air from Africa. The weather forecast says we'll get an inch of snow later today.

For good measure some entirely gratuitous photos ( and 2 videos ) of Bob and Sophie. Why not ? In the second video eagle eyed viewers will see that Sophie is quite brave when she thinks there is no one else around.

  4. Gratuitous puppy pictures...."Please Sir, may I have some more?"
They're both soooooo cute. I think you are right about Sophie, still waters do run deep, she may even outshine Bob eventually. Whatever the outcome, I'm glad you'll take us along for the journey of their lives.
Lovely early morning sceneries. Woke up to a cloudy rainy sky, but then the rain clouds all blew out to sea....darn......we really need some rain.

  5. The "kiddles" are very cute, how are you going to be able to wait another month to get your hands on them full-time? You and "the font" are in for some joyous times with these little balls of fur. Can't wait for the stories!

  8. It looks like a great place for puppies to stretch their legs in the near future! Sophie will end up being the lion heart is my guess! :)

  9. Absolutely love the puppy pictures and videos! These two are going to be such fun and I am so looking forward to the stories. The first picture of Bob made me think of Wilf; something in the way he was sitting and looking at the camera.

  13. Okay, Bob is so cute he's nearly edible! And Sophie is a little dolly baby, who's going to be great. It's evident you already know that. :-)

  14. Bob does have an old soul quality about him it seems, even at this young age, albeit with a playful muddy nose at times. I think Bob is a wise gentleman at heart, much like Wilf.

I love how Bob seems to sit like a solid little sentry guarding his ever demure balled up sister, who yes, when nobody is looking can also sit straight up! They make me smile.
