A pause .

The breeder sends through some photos of Bob and Sophie. They've discovered snow ,  which they like ; and rain which they don't.  They've been been examined by the vet and chipped. Both Bob and Sophie are well and thriving. They're at that inquisitive  ' Tell me , what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life ? " stage.

Now we'll say 'au revoir' until we're back from our Easter trip to California. Then there will be a new blog - www.bobnsophie.blogspot.com

Happy Easter to one and all.

  18. Please, leave the Wilf and Digby blogs up also. I know I still enjoy looking at them. I have read on past comments posted here that there are others that feel the same way. You have wonderful pictures and the stories are great to read. There is so much there it seems a waste to lose all those memories.

  22. They're growing by the day. And how very clever and learned of them, to know Mary Oliver's work at such a young age. I hope you'll leave the old blogs up at least until you get back; I keep meaning to go read all the old stuff. Or am I already too late? Happy trip to the left coast.

  24. We are anxious to begin our new journey with Bob and Sophie. Puppy PON's! What could be more delightful!
We are, and I think many of your followers will agree, unwilling to let Wilf And Digby go. We would so appreciate your keeping the old blog intact. As far as The Rickety Old Farmhouse, it is where we went together to share our grief and console each other after Wilf's passing and it is where we met the pups and began our new journey with them. So the Farmhouse is the liaison between a between a cherished past and a joyfully anticipated future.. Blue skies and calm winds. With love.

  29. Hi Angus - I have just popped over on the recommendation of Pamela (Pamela Terry and Edward) and I absolutely adore those two tinies. It is a lovely breed - we farm and I think at one time there was one on the farm, although before my time. Now we just have a Border Collie and a Border terrier - before that a GSH Pointer and before that a Pug. I adore dogs - I adore farming - I love the sound of your blog. I shall be back.
